Bybit Prediction is a feature of Bybit Alpha, powered by Polymarket, that lets eligible users trade on football match and tournament outcomes in USDC (USDC) straight from their Bybit accounts. No external wallet or on-chain setup is required to take advantage of Bybit Prediction. Your Unified Trading Account (UTA) covers everything, and Bybit Alpha handles the underlying on-chain interactions on your behalf.
In this article, we provide a step-by-step guide to using the product on both the website and the mobile app. We’ll walk you through every stage, from account preparation through to receiving settlement proceeds.
Key Takeaways:
Bybit Prediction is a prediction market feature within Bybit Alpha that’s offered in partnership with Polymarket. You can trade football outcomes using USDC held directly in your UTA, with no external wallet required.
Orders run as fill or kill (FOK) market orders, meaning each trade either fills completely or gets rejected outright, with zero partial fills.
Correct predictions settle at 1 USDC per share, with proceeds hitting your UTA normally within 24 hours of resolution. Incorrect orders settle at 0 USDC.
Access to Bybit Prediction is contingent upon meeting certain requirements. You'll need to complete Individual or Business Identity Verification, and clear applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and residency requirements before the feature becomes available to you. You’ll also need to ensure that your UTA holds at least 5 USDC, which is the minimum order size. If you have no USDC in your account, on-platform asset conversion methods such as Bybit Convert let you sort that quickly and flexibly.
At launch, Bybit Prediction is available in specific regions only. The list of eligible jurisdictions can change without notice. As one of the first steps, confirm that your location is eligible on the current Bybit Prediction Help Center FAQ page before proceeding.
On the Bybit website, hover over Trade in the top navigation bar and select Prediction.
On the Bybit App’s homescreen, tap on Trade → Alpha, then tap on the right arrow (→) next to FIFA World Cup 2026.
On either version, you land on the same interface — a browsable list of available sports markets organized by category, in which selecting an event opens its outcomes and order panel.
Markets on Bybit Prediction are grouped by category. At launch, supported formats cover Match Winner, Tournament Winner, Group Winner, Qualify and Over/Under, spanning both individual fixtures and competition-wide outcomes.

Selecting an event opens up the available YES and NO outcomes alongside their current share prices. These prices run between 0 USDC and 1 USDC, and reflect what the market collectively implies about probability, not what will actually happen. A YES share priced at 0.70 USDC signals roughly a 70% market-implied probability, nothing more. Before committing, be sure to read the event's resolution criteria carefully, as they define precisely what counts as a winning outcome and under what circumstances a market might be voided. Once you're ready, select Buy or Sell, pick YES or NO and enter your USDC amount.

The confirmation screen appears before any funds move. It shows estimated shares, cost, trading fee, estimated maximum payout and the execution protection threshold in effect. The supported order type is FOK market order.

Costs and trading fees are indicated separately. Two components make up the total fee:
a Polymarket sports fee of 3% (subject to Polymarket's current fee schedule)
a Bybit Alpha service fee of 1% of order cost
Gas fees don't apply, as Bybit Alpha automatically covers them for you.
Please note that the estimated maximum payout is gross proceeds, assuming every share settles as a winner. It is not net profit after fees.
The FOK order structure means no middle ground exists. Your order fills in full, or is rejected entirely.
Before you finally confirm your order, you’ll also see the maximum slippage rate protection available to you. Should the execution price deviate more than the indicated percentage from the current market price at the moment of submission, the order is automatically rejected, and nothing is deducted from your UTA.
Active orders show up under Portfolio, located in the left-side menu of your Bybit Prediction page (for the website version) or in the bottom menu of the Bybit Prediction screen (for the Bybit App mobile application). Each position displays shares held, average entry price, current price, cost, maximum payout, current value and unrealized P&L, with order activity also available within the Portfolio section.

Some adjustment options are available within the Portfolio section. Buy More lets you increase your position at current market prices, subject to the same FOK conditions. Sell lets you reduce or exit before settlement, with proceeds credited to your UTA once the transaction clears.
Liquidity varies by market, so a sell order isn't guaranteed to execute at any specific price. Separately, buy access is often restricted in the window just before a match kicks off, even when the market hasn't formally closed.
The Activities tab of the Portfolio section holds your full order history, covering fills, rejections and prior sales.
When an event concludes, the outcome is verified against the market's specific resolution rules. Winning shares pay out at 1 USDC each, and losing shares settle at zero. Proceeds land in your UTA automatically, typically within 24 hours of resolution.
Disputes, resettlements, maintenance windows or compliance reviews can push the payout timeline outside the typical 24-hour window. Once the transaction is credited, it’s viewable in Asset History.
Some important risks and notes need to be taken into account before you commit any funds to Bybit Prediction. First, the full cost of your position can be lost. If the outcome doesn't match your selected side, every share settles at 0 USDC with no refund. FOK market orders also carry execution risk, and the fill price may differ from the displayed price when liquidity is thin or prices are moving fast.
Selling before settlement isn't always possible. Liquidity constraints may prevent an exit at your preferred price, or at all. Markets themselves can be restricted, voided, cancelled, resettled or delayed, whether due to a match abandonment, a result dispute or a regulatory requirement.
Be sure to read the market rules before entering any position, and as always, only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
Bybit Prediction lets eligible users trade 2026 Football Finals outcomes in USDC directly from their UTA, without setting up an external wallet. The process is straightforward:
Choose a market
Review the resolution rules and fees
Place a FOK market order
Monitor your position until either you sell, or the market settles.
Remember that losing shares settle at 0 USDC. Liquidity may affect your ability to exit, and payouts can be delayed in disputed or resettled markets.
To explore available markets, go to Trade → Prediction on the Bybit website, or Trade → Alpha → Prediction in the Bybit App.
Risk disclaimer: Prediction markets involve real financial risk. Shares can go to zero if your chosen outcome does not occur. Only participate with funds you can afford to lose. Past market performance does not indicate future results.
