Bybit Listens: Derivatives Trading

Hey fam, your concerns are our priority. In line with our philosophy to “Listen, Care, and Improve”, we are launching Bybit Listens — a series where we update you on developments made in response to your feedback.

Your feedback is invaluable as we make improvements and take your trading experience to the next level. 

Kicking things off, here are several improvements we’ve made on our Derivatives Platform.

Trader: On the Bybit mobile app, I would love to have a better overview of my assets in all open positions, as well as their profit and loss. Currently, there is no list showing a quick overview of my different margin positions and I need to open all pairs separately.

We’ve improved the Derivatives assets overview on our mobile app so that you have instant visibility on all your positions. Instead of manually checking your open position coin pairs, you can easily view everything at a glance. This will enable you to make swift decisions in a highly volatile crypto market. 

Trader: There is no “Close All Positions” option and I can’t view active orders for all trading pairs. Having this would be a good option especially since crypto trading is highly volatile.

We’ve upgraded our Derivatives platform to improve visibility by showing active and conditional orders for all trading pairs. Users also have the option to close all positions at once or cancel orders for trading pairs. This allows you to manage or cancel unfilled orders in a timely and convenient manner.

Trader: I would like to see the position line on Bybit’s mobile app displayed the same way as the desktop web version.

We’ve made it easier for you to view your current position on the K-line chart. Simply open the Bybit mobile app and you can view your current position versus the market price. Additionally, we’ve upgraded our desktop web version so that users can seamlessly place market and limit orders on the chart.

Trader: I hope Bybit can provide us with market data such as open interest, so that we can better understand market conditions.

We understand the importance of open interest data in supporting your analysis and trade decisions. To make things convenient, we’ve made open interest data readily available on our derivatives trading page. All you have to do is click on the charts to view key insights, and there you have it!

Trader: I love that Bybit has been adding more BTC and USDT pairs! However, I’d like to see more up-and-coming altcoins and tokens available for trading.

We’ve been doing our best to add new derivatives pairs over the past few months. To date, we have more than 100 Derivatives pairs and are constantly on the lookout for more. Stay tuned to announcements on our blog so you never miss the latest trading pairs added to our platform!
