Arbitrum, a leading Ethereum Layer 2 solution, has relaunched its Odyssey campaign to attract new users and compete with rival networks. The campaign will last seven weeks and guide users through 13 of Arbitrum's top protocols, offering 16 NFT badges for completing tasks. Despite dominating Ethereum's Layer 2 in terms of total value locked (TVL), Arbitrum trails behind competitors like zkSync Era, Base, and Starknet in transaction throughput. Arbitrum had initially launched Odyssey last year but paused it due to high transaction fees and limitations in network capacity, which have since been resolved with a Nitro upgrade. The first week of the renewed campaign will spotlight various decentralized projects, including the GMX decentralized exchange and Uniswap. The Arbitrum Foundation has clarified that participation in Odyssey will not qualify users for any future airdrops.
